Rachel Kollar - 3D & 2D Digital Artist

I'm a 2D and 3D artist passionate about crafting immersive worlds and storytelling through design. I specialize in 3D modeling, FX, texturing, and environment creation, with a strong foundation in both stylized and realistic workflows. My toolkit includes Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, Krita, GIMP, and Aseprite, and I’m experienced in game engines like Unity and Unreal Engine. I also work with MCreator and Blockbench for modding and asset creation, especially in voxel-based and Minecraft-inspired projects.

2D Pixel Art

Favorite Pixel Art pieces

I take part in Pixel Dailies over on X (formally Twitter) and each day there is a new prompt and you create some pixel art centered around the daily prompt! It's a fun way to flex your creativity but also draw something you maybe normally wouldn't and get out of your comfort zone a bit. I always tend to try and make everything cute because I think there should be more cute in the world :)

Isometric Favorites

These are a few of the Pixel Dailies that I took part in that I felt stood out the most and where I felt I made some improvement on my art! I always have a lot of fun making small cute animations for my pixel art, I feel it really makes the art come alive :)

Pixel Art November Challenge 2023

I took part in a pixel art challenge for the month of November 2023 with theme restrictions. I wanted to practice the isometric pixel art style (a personal favorite of mine) and these are a few of my favorites!

3D Art

3D Art of 2024 - Present

I’ve been exploring stylized workflows in Blender using the Grease Pencil toolset and clay style renders. I focused on developing a collection of cell-shaded and toon-style artwork, experimenting with line weight, color blocking, and expressive motion. These projects also deepened my understanding of Blender’s animation tools, allowing me to create immersive, narrative-driven scenes that blend 2D and 3D aesthetics.
